At Dusseldorf airport, a 42 traveler who had high-quality watches with him went online to the German customs officials. The German came in from Dubai and was fished out by customs.

According to a statement, the officers became aware of a particularly expensive watch that he was wearing on his arm. He had bought this in the United Arab Emirates for 62.000 euros. When his luggage was searched, another luxury watch worth 42.000 euros was found. The “holiday purchases” were not properly registered with customs, so that the man now had to pay heavily and an administrative penal procedure was also in the offing for him.
