In the 2022/23 winter flight schedule, the airline Eurowings is cutting traffic between Germany and Iraq. The destination Erbil offered from Düsseldorf will only be served once a week from November 12, 2022.

The reduction is initially valid until December 16, 2022. In the period from January 10, 2023 to February 16, 2023, the Lufthansa subsidiary will not fly between Düsseldorf and Erbil. From today's perspective, it is then planned that the route will be reactivated to its original extent, i.e. with two rotations per week.

Eurowings has been flying between Düsseldorf and Erbil for some time. In the current summer period 2022, this route is served on Monday and Friday traffic days. As a rule, medium-haul jets of the Airbus A320 type are used.
