Dubai International Airport (DXB) will close the northern runway from May 9, 2022 to June 22, 2022 – i.e. right at the start of the ATM tourism trade fair. A comprehensive modernization is to be carried out on this.

During these planned 45 days, some flights will be diverted to Dubai World Central Airport (DWC). DWC will handle more than 1000 flights per week during the refurbishment period - Flydubai, Spice Jet, Indigo and Gulf Air flights will be the most affected. including the restaurants, cafes and retail outlets, will be in full operation. In addition, the check-in counters, customs and immigration authorities will also be available for the flight passengers. This is reported by the Swiss travel portal About Travel.

To ensure a connection between the airports, a free bus transfer is available XNUMX hours a day. Dubai World Central will also offer free parking for travelers and special fares for RTA taxis marked for trips from DWC.
