Easter: Berlin expects 1,15 million passengers

Berlin-Brandenburg Airport expects around 1,15 million passengers during the upcoming Easter holidays. 46 destinations in 123 countries are offered by 47 airlines.

Around 1,15 million passengers are expected at Berlin Brandenburg Airport, spread over around 7.500 take-offs and landings. On the individual holiday days, an average of around 68.000 passengers travel via BER. The main travel days, each with around 77.000 passengers, are expected to be on Sundays on April 2nd at the start of the holidays and on April 16th at the end of Easter travel. At the busiest times in holiday traffic, additional staff from the BERteam will again welcome and support passengers in the terminals.

At Easter, travelers from the region are drawn to the European metropolises, to the Mediterranean and also to far-flung destinations. In Europe, Amsterdam, Antalya, Paris, Zurich and Palma de Mallorca are at the top of the list of the most popular holiday destinations. The preferred countries for long-distance travelers from BER at Easter are Egypt, Qatar, USA, Singapore, Dubai and Tunisia.
