Eastern Airways is optimizing its route network from Birmingham and Southampton: The low-cost airline will be adding Gibraltar to its flight program from May 2021.

From May 28th, the British overseas territory will be served twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. Regional aircraft of the Embraer E190 brand would be used, such as simpleflying.com reported. A one-way ticket is said to be available from £ 74,99. After four years of abstinence, the English carrier is connecting Birmingham Airport with Gibraltar again. “We look forward to welcoming Gibraltar again with us. Gibraltar is a popular destination for a sunny getaway, but it is also an important business route that allows access to this British territory. We believe that this route will more than prove itself in the future, ”said airport boss Tom Screen.
