Contrary to previous announcements, the low-cost airline Easyjet will not reactivate the non-stop route between Berlin and Innsbruck. The sale of tickets for the 2023 summer timetable has already been discontinued. This means that in the summer of 2023 you will not be present in Tyrol from Berlin.

The low-coster significantly reduces the presence at Berlin-Brandenburg Airport. In the summer of 2023, according to the current state of affairs, in addition to Innsbruck, the destinations Athens, Bastia, Cagliari, Kefalonia, Cologne/Bonn, Gothenburg, Helsinki, Mykonos, Santorini, Milan-Malpensa, Marseille, La Palma, Lamezia Terme and Marrakech will not offer more.

Eleven aircraft will be stationed at BER. Furthermore, numerous rounds are served “out of base”. The Austrian destinations Vienna and Innsbruck will be cancelled. There is currently no indication that the two routes will be resumed in the foreseeable future.

According to current information, easyjet will not be present from Berlin in Vienna or Innsbruck in the 2023 summer flight schedule. During the 2022/23 winter timetable period, Austrian Airlines carry out individual circuits between Berlin and Innsbruck.
