The airline Easyjet remains the leading airline at Euro Airport Basel/Mulhouse with a market share of around 55 percent. From next summer, Easyjet will be expanding its flight offering with three new destinations. From April 4, 2025, Bilbao will be served twice a week, followed by routes to Djerba and Reykjavik-Keflavik from April 1, also with two flights per week each.

The new connections are intended to further strengthen Easyjet's already well-established presence at Euro Airport. By adding Bilbao, Djerba and Reykjavik, the airline is responding to increasing demand and offering passengers an expanded choice of destinations. In particular, the return to Reykjavik, which is a popular destination for travelers to Iceland, is likely to attract a lot of interest.

The expansion of the route offering is part of Easyjet's comprehensive strategy to further expand its European network and offer passengers attractive flight options. Euro Airport remains an important hub for national and international connections as an important hub in the region.
