From March 30, 2025, EasyJet will serve the Rhine metropolis of Düsseldorf with a new connection to Milan-Malpensa. The airline announced that it will fly the route up to twelve times a week.

This expansion is aimed at both business travelers and city vacationers. EasyJet had previously started flights to London Gatwick, Nice and Edinburgh from Düsseldorf. The expansion of the Düsseldorf route network follows the airline's strategy of strengthening its presence in important European cities.
