The airline Emirates was able to achieve groundbreaking figures this summer. If the forecasts are to be believed, this upward trend should also continue in winter.
The international airline Emirates was able to achieve excellent results in the summer of 2023. These figures and this upward trend should also be maintained in the further course of the year. The most important and most in-demand destination is the Dubai hub, where most air traffic originated from the UK, India, Germany, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, China, Egypt and Kuwait. Statistics say that 35 percent of passengers who traveled to Dubai with Emirates were families.
In the summertime between June and August, the carrier was able to transport over 14 million passengers on 50.000 flights. This trend should also continue in the winter season, as can be seen from the recorded connections. The airline started flights to Montreal, in addition to which it was able to realize daily flights to the cities of Birmingham, Nice, Taipei and Shanghai.
Adnan Kazim, Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates, said: “Demand for travel across our network is strong and resilient, despite increasing cost pressures in many markets. This shows the value people place on travel and the importance of international air connectivity to society. As a pioneer in restoring our flight schedules, Emirates has worked closely with our industry partners. We are delighted with the positive response from our passengers across all cabin classes, particularly premium cabins, and will continue to invest in our products and services and in operating an efficient global network to offer our passengers the best value for money.”
