Eurowings operates farewell flight for BER Terminal 5

Advertising

On behalf of the tour operator Niki Aviation & Holidays, the airline Eurowings will operate a sightseeing flight from "Berlin-Schoenefeld" on September 2, 2023. The background is that the building last known as Terminal 5 will be officially adopted.

The terminal, which dates back to GDR times, was initially part of Berlin-Schoenefeld Airport and then for a few weeks as Terminal 5 of the new BER. However, it was quickly taken off the grid because demand was very low due to the corona pandemic. Recently it was decided that it will never go as a mesh again.

On September 2, 2023, Eurowings will operate a kind of farewell flight for the old Schönefeld terminal on behalf of Niki Aviation & Holidays. It is scheduled to take off at 17:50 p.m. local time. Tickets are available from 199 euros directly from the provider.
