The new Lufthansa holiday airline Eurowings Discover is now an official member of the frequent flyer program Miles and More. Customers should be credited with at least four award miles for every euro of the flight price.

The minimum credit to the mileage account should be 125 award miles per leg. From Frequent Traveler status customers receive a bonus of 25 percent on the award and status miles. In order to be able to receive free flights, at least 15.000 miles are required with Eurowings Discover.

The new establishment is the future "vacation department" of Lufthansa and is to start primarily from Frankfurt am Main and Munich. A fleet consisting of the types Airbus A330 and A320 is currently being built up. Trade unions criticize the project and accuse the Kranich management of collective bargaining.
