The upcoming approval of the first corona vaccines in the European Union makes the Lufthansa subsidiary Eurowings more optimistic. The entry and quarantine regulations are still extremely complicated, but company boss Jens Bischof sees light at the end of the tunnel.

At the moment, the booking situation for the period between Christmas and New Year should be very good. In an interview with the Rheinische Post, Bischof stated that around 30 machines will be in use. By the Easter holidays, the number is to be increased to around 50 aircraft. The manager forecasts around 80 to 90 machines for the rest of the year.
