The Lufthansa subsidiary Eurowings has announced a special flight from Düsseldorf to Tenerife on the occasion of the lifting of the German travel warning. This is to be carried out on November 1, 2020. The regular Canary Islands program should also be reactivated.

The carrier will be flying to these Spanish islands again from November 7, 2020 from Berlin-Brandenburg, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Cologne / Bonn and Stuttgart. “The decision of the federal government to lift the travel warning for the Canaries is a ray of hope for tourism in difficult times. She reminds us that there are not only safe air travel, but also safe travel destinations around the world. The Canary Islands are now indisputably one of them again. After lifting the travel warning, we are now again significantly expanding our flight capacities to Lanzarote, Tenerife, Fuerteventura, La Palma and Gran Canaria. We act with all due caution and in strict compliance with an industry-wide leading hygiene concept - on board and on the ground, ”says Managing Director Jens Bischof.
