From September 8th to 10th, 2023, Hamburg will once again become a hotspot for cruise fans: the Hamburg Cruise Days are back in their old form. Nine cruise ships, the Blue Port Hamburg and a high-quality program on land and water ensure a unique maritime atmosphere, great enthusiasm - and guaranteed a little wanderlust. AIDA Cruises is on board as a premium partner.

Every two years, hundreds of thousands of "viewers" make a pilgrimage to the edge of Hamburg's harbor. Their goal: an event that is unique in the world - the Hamburg Cruise Days. After a pandemic-related forced break and a scaled-down edition (pure Hamburg Cruise Days) last year, the internationally popular maritime event is now taking place for the ninth time and in its old size in the Port of Hamburg. From September 8 to 10, 2023, the "most beautiful cruise festival in the world" will once again take people on an atmospheric journey: with a colorful program of information, entertainment, culture and culinary delights on land, with nine cruise ships in the harbor and three atmospheric productions on the water.

Michael Otremba, Managing Director of Hamburg Tourism: "The Hamburg Cruise Days are unique in their interaction with the Blue Port. They are so popular with many Hamburg residents and guests because the staging of the port in connection with the cruise ships evokes very deep emotions. We are looking forward to an atmosphere that other port cities will envy us for."

Nine very different ships will be on display over the three days of the event - from impressive ocean cruisers to sleek expedition and charming river cruise ships: AIDAprima, AIDAperla and AIDAsol (all AIDA Cruises), Artania (Phoenix Reisen), Mein Schiff 6 (TUI Cruises ), MS Thurgau Chopin (Thurgau Travel), MS Sans Souci (PLANTOURS Cruises), VASCO DA GAMA and WORLD VOYAGER (both nicko cruises) will call at the port of Hamburg over the three days.
