FACC AG reports increase in sales

FACC AG was able to control sales to 513,9 million euros in the first nine months of the current year. The EBIT is reported at five million euros.

The recovery in the aviation industry continues. In the first nine months of 2023, FACC AG was able to achieve an increase in sales of 22,5% to EUR 513,9 million compared to the same period last year. The high utilization of the aviation industry is also illustrated by the FACC's long-term order book, which has recorded significant growth with a volume of USD 5,8 billion.

The Q3/2023 result is burdened by seasonally lower sales in the summer months, challenging material supply in the supply chain, training costs for new employees and inflation-related cost increases, especially in the personnel area.

The further outlook for the 2023 financial year remains unchanged: Group sales in the 2023 financial year will increase by over 12% to 16% compared to the 2022 financial year. With regard to the result, management expects a reduced but positive result for the second half of the year compared to the first half of the year.
