As an immediate measure to support people in need in the Ukraine, FACC AG organized the transport of relief supplies to the Ukraine.
In cooperation with Ukrainian organizations, the FACC workforce collected warm clothing, blankets, hygiene items and food that will directly benefit the local population. In just two days, around 3.000 employees collected relief supplies with a loading volume of 40 tons, which were loaded in Ried im Innkreis and transported by freight forwarder to a distribution center on the Polish-Ukrainian border. "The fact that the internal appeal for donations received such a great response also shows how deeply concerned the FACC workforce is about the current conflict," the broadcast said. In addition, an FACC truck was sent to Vienna, which also transported donations collected in Vienna to Ukraine. "The situation on the ground in Ukraine and the human suffering there affects us all. It was important to all of us to make a contribution in this situation," said CEO Robert Machtlinger.
