The Vienna University of Applied Sciences of the WKW is opening the application period for its bachelor's and master's degree programs in the field of tourism and hospitality management until March 31, 2025. The programs are characterized by a strong practical orientation and offer students close connections to the tourism industry. Theoretical content is combined with practical experience through excursions, practical projects and stays abroad.

The English-language master's program "Urban Tourism & Visitor Economy Management" places a special focus on the economic development of city tourism. Students are expected to develop creative solutions for tourism in heavily frequented cities. The part-time course combines online teaching with international practical projects and is aimed at professionals who aspire to a management position in tourism.

The Bachelor's degree program in Tourism Management is offered both full-time and in a dual form. While the classic variant includes a semester abroad or a professional internship, the dual study program enables a close integration of theory and practice: From the second year onwards, students spend half of each week in a partner company where they are already employed.

Those interested can find out more at several events: On February 19, 2025, a hybrid information event will take place online and on campus; from March 6 to 9, the university of applied sciences will present itself at the BeSt³ education fair in Vienna; and on March 21, the university will host an open house with campus tours and sample entrance tests.
