Finnair and Turkish Airlines announce codeshare agreement

Finnair and Turkish Airlines will join forces and announced a codeshare partnership yesterday. This is intended to offer customers of both airlines a greater choice.

From September 29, the Finnair code AY will be introduced on Turkish Airlines routes between Helsinki and Istanbul and from Istanbul to Athens, Sofia, Thessaloniki, Amman, Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, Luxor, Antalya and Gazipasa. The Turkish Airlines code TK will be introduced on the following routes from Finnair's Helsinki hub: Kuopio, Vaasa, Oulu, Rovaniemi, Reykjavik, Tallinn, Tartu, Riga, Vilnius, Antalya and Gazipasa. So far, the two airlines have already been interline partners.
