The planned network carrier Riyadh Air presented the first of two standard liveries on Monday. The machine has already completed a test flight, which was carried out within the United States of America.

Riyadh Air is expected to take off as Saudi Arabia's additional network carrier in early 2025. The new establishment is owned by the state Public Investment Fund and is part of the desert state's large-scale tourism strategy. Numerous aircraft have already been secured, some of which are obtained from the lessor Avilease, which was founded specifically for this purpose.

The first aircraft to appear in Riyadh Air's livery is a Boeing 787-9. The long-haul aircraft currently still has a factory registration. The plane took off from Portland International Airport on Monday for testing purposes. During the presentation of the livery, the young aviation company said that it would be the first of two livery schemes. This is an indication that another livery could follow.
