Flixbus definitely wants a German 49-euro ticket

In Germany, a network ticket for 49 euros per month is being planned as the successor to the nine-euro ticket. In contrast to the Austrian climate ticket, this should only apply to regional transport. Flixbus initially received a basket, but the company did not give up.

Company boss Schwämmlein increases the pressure on German politicians and vehemently demands that long-distance bus services have to be part of the planned 49-euro ticket. He also argues that some regions are much better served by bus than by train. German politicians, on the other hand, want to stick to the fact that long-distance transport is excluded from the network card, which is a little comprehensible “German regulation” compared to the Austrian climate ticket.
