Anyone who has always wanted trolleys from Austrian Airlines or Tyrolean Airways or wanted to put Boeing 767 seats in their living room or office can get their money's worth at an online auction. The Lufthansa subsidiary is auctioning numerous items and donating the proceeds to neighbors in need.
The seats were in use on long-haul flights worldwide and have now been exchanged for Premium Economy Class seats during a cabin conversion. They have been repapered true to the original and are up for auction in sets of 2 and 3. The starting prices are 240 or 360 euros. In addition, around 170 trolleys previously used by Austrian Airlines and Tyrolean will be auctioned off. These start at a starting price of 50 euros.
In cooperation with the Austrian auction platform Aurena, Austrian Airlines is donating the entire proceeds of the auction to neighbors in need to support the people in Ukraine. According to the auctioneer, the bids will be awarded on May 21, 2022 at 9 a.m. Those interested can take a look at the offer at this link directly from Aurena look at.

"The terrible suffering of the people in Ukraine as a result of the devastating war situation affects us all. As the red-white-red airline, it is our job to connect people, cultures and economic areas. As a flag carrier, we are also fulfilling this responsibility in this crisis. With the charity campaign, we hope to make at least a small contribution to alleviating the suffering of the people in Ukraine and at the same time to be able to share a piece of Austrian aviation history," explains Austrian Airlines Board Member for Sales Michael Trestl.
If you are not quite sure, you can also view the pieces before placing a bid. On May 18, 2022, you can come to Niklasdorf at Depotstraße 13 between 00:15 p.m. and 00:2 p.m. There, the highest bidders must pick up the auctioned goods themselves on May 24, 2022 between 8:00 a.m. and 15:00 p.m.
