At Frankfurt Airport, travelers and visitors now have another opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle at the airport for a moment: there is now a quiet room in Terminal 2 as well.

The newly opened meditation room is located in the public area next to Arrival E and is accessible daily from 5.00 a.m. to 23.00 p.m. free of charge. It is designed to be non-denominational and is intended to offer people with different worldviews, cultures and religions a place to pause. With the opening of a second quiet room, airport operator Fraport is responding to the increasing demand from passengers for places to retreat. At the peak of the pandemic, passengers had to temporarily forgo such offers due to infection control. The opening of another place of inner contemplation contributes both to increasing the quality of stay and customer friendliness at Germany's largest air traffic hub.

Travelers have been able to use such a room in the transit area of Terminal 2017 since summer 1. In addition, there are a total of ten religious prayer rooms for Christians, Jews and Muslims at Frankfurt Airport.
