Frankfurt-Hahn: the insolvency administrator is again obtaining offers

The race for the German regional airport Frankfurt-Hahn is open again, because insolvency administrator Jan Markus Plathner has invited bidders and other interested parties to submit offers by March 9, 2023. A decision should be made by March 26, 2023.

"In view of the failed approval in the special creditors' meetings and the new expressions of interest, we would like to give potential interested parties the opportunity to participate in the investor process. However, the priority is still to find a solution in a timely manner,” says the lawyer.

Flight operations at Frankfurt-Hahn Airport will continue in full as part of the insolvency proceedings. The 2023 summer timetable will include other new European destinations that will be served non-stop from Frankfurt-Hahn.
