The Star Alliance member Air Canada has announced the resumption of nonstop flights between Toronto and Vienna on July 22, 2021. Initially, three circuits per week should be served. Austrian Airlines will not fly to Canada for a long time.
Via the Air Canada hub in Toronto, passengers from Austria can quickly and easily reach around 25 destinations in Canada on flights from Vienna - including Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, Montréal, Ottawa, Halifax and others. Around 10 destinations in the USA - including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, New York - are also currently accessible with convenient connecting flights via Toronto.
With increasing demand and simplified entry requirements, Air Canada will gradually expand the range of flights within Canada and the USA in the coming weeks and months to up to 40 destinations in the USA and around 30 destinations in Canada, which can be reached via Toronto.
