From the end of March 2023: Swiss will fly Geneva-Vienna itself again

There will be a change on the Vienna-Geneva route effective March 26, 2023. Swiss will take over the flights previously operated by Austrian Airlines. Up to three daily or 18 weekly course pairs are offered.

Swiss will generally use the Airbus A220-300 aircraft type between Geneva and Vienna vv. So far, Austrian Airlines has mostly flown with Embraer 195 and A320. A while ago, AUA took over all the circulations of the sister company on this route. The background was that the Swiss carrier had an acute shortage of staff. From the end of March 2023, these will again be served by Swiss itself.
