Wizz Air will reactivate 11 routes to and from Vienna in the next few days. This means that 61 Wizz routes to 31 countries can currently be booked from Austria.

Wizz Air starts the comeback marathon with two attractive city destinations: From May 31.05st. passengers can travel from Vienna to Milan and Athens again. From 14.06. the Milan frequency will be increased to five times a week and the Athens frequency to four times a week. Island flights to Malta and Crete are also being resumed. The numerous reactivations are a reaction to the travel restrictions that have been relaxed with immediate effect, which means that only the 3-G certificate (tested, recovered or vaccinated) is required to return to Austria from, for example, Italy or Greece.

“Bookings are currently increasing strongly and I am therefore certain that summer 2021 will be a travel summer! My colleagues and I are looking forward to finally being able to welcome more and more Austrians on board again,” said Andras Rado, Senior Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air.
