Last week, the traditional "Summer Take Off" took place at Graz Airport. Due to the corona pandemic, this was paused for around two years. According to the airport, around 300 people took part in the comeback edition.

“Due to the many events that are currently taking place, we did not expect this great response. This makes it clear how great the interest in the travel industry is and the desire for networking in a relaxed atmosphere,” says Wolfgang Grimus, Managing Director of Graz Airport. "It also became clear that evening: Despite the sometimes difficult economic conditions, the tour operator, airline and travel agency representatives are convinced of a good summer season due to the current booking situation."

Not only did the epicurean delights from the Lagardère team around Jürgen Kahl create a special holiday mood, but also the cumbia rhythms of the Graz band (with international cast) La Cumbestia.
