Not surprisingly, Green Airlines canceled the first flight announced for November 1, 2020 on Thursday. The company cites the German government's new corona measures as a reason. There is no new date. Sales have been suspended for at least the entire month of November 2020.

In the middle of the corona pandemic, the company (limited liability) wanted to establish a flight connection between Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden and Berlin-Brandenburg with chartered machines. The timing for the implementation of such a project is extremely bad due to the external circumstances of the corona pandemic. Demand is at the bottom across the industry, so the short-term cancellation does not come as a surprise.

Buyers of tickets whose flights are within the next 14 days - from receipt of the cancellation information - are entitled to replacement transport and compensation in the amount of 261 euros per person and route according to EU Regulation 2004/250. In case of doubt, this can also be asserted against the operating carrier, Chalair Aviation. Green Airlines writes in the press release that affected customers should get the money they paid for the ticket back. The circle of those affected should be manageable anyway due to the pandemic.
