Since yesterday evening the airline has been connecting the Styrian airport with Amsterdam-Schiphol again.

The flight connection to Amsterdam was offered from GRZ last autumn / winter, but then had to be suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, KLM is going to the capital of the Netherlands again six times a week - and thus to one of the most important transfer airports in Europe.

This means that Graz is connected to four destinations in the liner sector, namely Vienna, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf and Amsterdam. Since yesterday and today, holiday flights have been going to Heraklion and Rhodes in addition to Paros, Naxos and Skiathos. Many more destinations will follow in the coming weeks, the airport promises in its broadcast.

“With the resumption of air traffic to Amsterdam, Graz Airport has opened its gates to the world a little further. For the many large companies and groups of companies that are based in Graz, air traffic between European cities is urgently required. That secures jobs in Graz in these challenging times and maintains our competitiveness with other competing regions, ”said Finance and Investment City Councilor Günter Riegler.

The flights will be offered at different times until the end of June, from the end of June the planes will take off in Graz at 14 p.m.
