Condor has started a new flight connection to Samos at Hamburg Airport. Previously, this destination could not be reached non-stop from the North German airport. From now on, the holiday airline will be heading to the Greek island once a week.

“As in 2020, Greece is particularly popular with northern Germans this year. We are very pleased to be able to add another holiday destination to our offer on the Greek islands. The island of Samos offers what many travelers long for: Beach, sea, mountains - there is free sun on one of the sunniest islands in Greece, ”says Dirk Behrens, Head of Aviation at Hamburg Airport.

"Samos optimally complements the flight offer from Hamburg to the most beautiful Mediterranean destinations and guests can now fly directly from the Hanseatic city with Condor to the Greek holiday island", says Tobias Schnitker, Head of Pricing & Revenue Short / Medium Haul. "With the new destination we are pleased to further strengthen our partnership with Hamburg Airport and to offer the people of the region even more destinations as holiday destinations."

The Condor airline is again focusing on diversity this summer: Condor is heading to a total of 19 non-stop destinations from Hamburg. With the connection to Samos, the airline is now flying to nine holiday destinations in Greece, including islands such as Corfu, Crete, Rhodes and Zakynthos. Condor connects the Hanseatic city with other sunny destinations, such as the Canary Islands, Palma de Mallorca, Funchal and Hurghada.
