The Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air will be offering the destinations Banja Luka and Sarajevo from Hamburg on mid-December 2021. The airport explains that both destinations are also interesting for winter sports enthusiasts.

Banja Luka will be offered twice a week from Hamburg from December 17, 2021. In the winter flight schedule 2021/22, Wizz Air wants to offer a total of eleven destinations from the Hanseatic city. In addition to Banja Luka and Sarajevo, the airline also flies to Cluj, Bucharest, Belgrade, Gdansk, Kiev, Chisinau, Skopje, Tirana and Varna. This makes the airline the largest provider of flights to Eastern Europe from Hamburg Airport.

“We are very pleased to be able to add a completely new destination to our flight plan. The fact that Wizz Air will be launching another connection in December is a positive sign for the winter season. Our passengers will also be happy about the variety in the route network, especially for winter sports enthusiasts, Banja Luka is a real insider tip, ”says Dirk Behrens, Head of Aviation at Hamburg Airport.
