Holidaycheck has got a new managing director

From March 1, 2024, HolidayCheck Touristik will be under the management of Christian Kaschner, who will report directly to CEO Christoph Ludmann.

As of February 1, 2024, Christoph Ludmann was appointed CEO and Uta Fesefeldt as CFO of the HolidayCheck Group. Marc Al-Hames, previous board member and CEO, is withdrawing from this operational role at the HolidayCheck Group in order to be able to fulfill his duties as board member of Hubert Burda Media 100 percent. In this role, he will continue to closely support the strategic development of HolidayCheck.

Marc Al-Hames took over the management of the HolidayCheck Group as CEO in May 2020, and since January 2023 he has also been appointed to the board of Hubert Burda Media, the majority shareholder of the HolidayCheck Group.

The chairman of the supervisory board, Holger Eckstein, says: “The supervisory board and I personally would like to thank Marc Al-Hames for leading HolidayCheck safely through the difficult Corona period, for making the company profitable and, together with the team, for successfully transforming it into the holiday platform with the highest reach in DA-CH has advanced. From Burda's board of directors, we will continue to support HolidayCheck's strategic development. With Christoph Ludmann as the new CEO and Uta Fesefeldt as the new CFO, proven travel platform experts are taking the helm. Both have helped shape the positive development of HolidayCheck for years and will continue this profitable growth in their new roles.”
