Austria is now classified as a risk area by another country: Denmark put the Netherlands and Portugal on the “red list” alongside the Alpine republic. The federal capital Vienna has been rated red by the Serum Institute for a few days.

This now has significant consequences, as the Austrian Foreign Ministry explains: On September 19, 2020 (midnight), entry from Austria is only possible for special reasons. This is no longer possible for tourist purposes. For more information on current regulations in Denmark, contact the local police at this link provided.

Possible effects on the flight offer from Austrian airports are currently not foreseeable. Upon request, the providers uniformly stated that further developments - especially with regard to demand and booking figures - will be monitored and any decisions will be based on them. Flights between Austria and Denmark are offered by Wizzair, Ryanair / Lauda and Austrian Airlines, among others.
