Jamaica abolished all corona-related entry restrictions on April 16. From now on, travelers will not need to provide a corona test or alternative proof of immunity to visit the Caribbean island.
Only the entry form – which was already a mandatory document before the pandemic – is still required. The C5 entry and customs card must be filled out regardless of the entry rules imposed by COVID-19. The authorities recommend that holidaymakers complete the form online in advance in order to speed up the processes at the airport. Anyone who has not managed to do this can still answer the questions on board the flight on the paper card that was handed out. Among other things, personal data, the passport number, the reason for travel, the travel dates and address on the island as well as goods to be declared that may be carried are given. In addition to the entry restrictions, the mask requirement in public places in Jamaica will no longer apply, as Check24 reports.
