Japan fans will have to be patient: The country will apparently not allow foreign tourists to enter the country until spring.

Local media would make this claim in the past few days. The background is apparently the Olympic Games in Tokyo, which have been postponed by a year due to the corona pandemic. These should now not be endangered, like the news portal Travel before 9 reported. The Japanese have had the island nation all to themselves since the end of March. As a result of the corona pandemic, the government closed the borders.

In addition, the government is currently working on new security measures. However, these are not to be finally decided until January. In addition to two mandatory Covid-19 tests - one before and another upon entry - corona insurance is also to be introduced, which covers possible corona treatments. There would also be a general upper limit for foreign tourists.
