The Romanian airline Just Us Air was reactivated a few days ago. The carrier is now flying the Airbus A319 with the registration YR-URS on behalf of Blue Air. According to the Romanian media, this type of aircraft is not supposed to be available for the German charter company Green Airlines.

Instead, Just Us Air is to operate the charter flights for Green Airlines from July 9, 2021 with the Airbus A321 with the registration YR-NTS. The Romanian carrier does not have any other machines because the YR-DSI was returned to the lessor in the summer of the previous year.

Deviating from the name, Green Airlines is not an airline, but a company that charters aircraft and markets the seats for its own account. You therefore do not maintain your own fleet, nor do you have an operating license or AOC. A few days ago it caused a sensation because Just Us Air did not have any regulatory approvals at the time of communication.

The Romanian airline has regained this and is - as mentioned - already in the air on behalf of Blue Air. It remains to be seen whether the German charter marketer Green Airlines will be able to profitably market the capacities of the Airbus A321 from Paderborn and Rostock. Both markets are considered difficult in the industry.
