KitzSki starts the 2024 winter season with new investments and offers

The 8 winter season begins in Kitzbühel on November 2024, 2024. This year, the KitzSki ski area is once again making extensive investments in improving the slopes and snowmaking systems.

The aim is to increase the safety and quality of the slopes in order to offer guests an optimal winter sports experience. Particular emphasis is placed on the environmentally friendly and faster snowmaking of the legendary Streif downhill run, which is becoming more efficient with modern cooling towers and more powerful pumps.

The area attracts with 233 kilometers of slopes and numerous winter activities for all age groups, including specially designed offers for children and freestyle fans. The training center on the Resterkogel will be open for young winter sports enthusiasts from November 8th, and the partnership with the German Ski Association will also be continued.

For the coming winter, new mobility solutions such as the KitzSkiXpress from Munich to Kitzbühel have also been introduced to promote environmentally friendly travel. KitzSki also received a special award from Skiresort.de as the “world's best ski resort” with a rating of 4,9 out of 5 stars.
