In the dispute over Klagenfurt Airport, Lilihill, who is still the majority owner, is upping the ante again. In a media release, one writes, among other things, that "despite the enormous headwind and all the prophecies of doom, the plans for the new convenience business carrier are being pursued".

A culprit for the fact that the promised charter flights have not yet been launched has already been identified. "Due to the current developments at Klagenfurt Airport, Liliair will invest more lead time in the launch of the regional airline," says Liliair. At this point, it should be expressly pointed out that Liliair repeatedly refers to itself as "airline", "airline", "carrier" or "regional airline" in the media release. This gives the impression that it would be an airline. However, this is not true because Liliair does not have an AOC and no operating license. From a legal point of view, you are not an aviation company. The intended chartering of machines and the marketing of the seats on its own account does not make a GmbH a full-fledged airline, especially since "virtual constructions" have only been able to prove themselves permanently on the market in extremely rare cases.

Liliair also writes in the broadcast: “Klagenfurt remains a possible destination for the regional airline, which is 100 percent owned by the Lilihill Group. Negotiations with Klagenfurt Airport will be resumed as soon as the bodies at Carinthian Airport are able to make decisions again and the legal situation has been clarified. So far, the province of Carinthia and the city of Klagenfurt, as minority owners, have opposed a contract with the Austrian airline and delayed the course of the project. Liliair is also willing to talk about a new owner construction in order to offer tourism and the economy in Carinthia attractive flight connections". This passage also allows the interpretation that Lilihill will probably not prevent the forthcoming dilution of the shares by quickly paying in the share in the capital increase. The state of Carinthia is also currently preparing preferring the so-called call option, which will then mean that Klagenfurt Airport will once again be completely in the hands of the public sector.

How about Svalbard as your new home airport…. or Kangerlussuaq… or Tiksi…. definitely far away from Austria!
Liliair can also fly to Klagenfurt from there - it will certainly be a success!

Hello people, how about Austria, for example, Klagenfurt?
    In the middle of Europe.
    From Klagenfurt to , anywhere.
    Wouldn't that be something?
