Berlin-Brandenburg Airport is checking against those climate stickers that illegally gained access to the apron last week and thus a caused a temporary cessation of flight operationsto assert civil claims for damages.

The people arrested by the federal police have since been released. Irrespective of this, according to the Brandenburg State Criminal Police Office, there are criminal consequences for various offences. A corresponding preliminary investigation is underway, although no charges have been filed to date.

An airport spokeswoman initially confirmed to Aero.de that a civil lawsuit for damages was being considered. One does not want to bear the lost fees and the direct costs of illegal entry into the area. It is currently still unclear how much money BER will sue from the activists.
