KLM Royal Dutch Airlines aims to make flight operations cleaner, quieter and more efficient. The airline has put its first Airbus A321 into operation
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines wants to improve its flight operations. They should become more efficient, quieter and more environmentally friendly. The airline plans to use mainly Airbus A321neo aircraft, and the Boeing 737 fleet will be gradually phased out. The first Airbus A321neo was properly integrated into the fleet after landing at Amsterdam Airport.
"I was really looking forward to it. The arrival of the first A321neo marks the start of the replacement of our Boeing 737 fleet. The A321neo generates less noise and CO2 and therefore contributes significantly to a cleaner, quieter future. It also offers more comfort. I look forward to seeing how our passengers will experience the new aircraft." Marjan Rintel, President and CEO of KLM.
