The former Lufthansa Lounge at Cologne / Bonn Airport will soon be reactivated by a new operator. The Global Lounge Network will manage this as an airline and ticket-independent, exclusive waiting area in the future.
"We are very pleased that the new offer is aimed at all of our passengers - regardless of the airline, flight status and reason for travel," explains Johan Vanneste, CEO of Flughafen Köln / Bonn GmbH. The "Common Use Lounge" welcomes business travelers who are looking for a secluded workplace, as well as private travelers who want to enjoy peace and relaxation before the flight. Torsten Wardrobe, Managing Director of Flughafen Köln / Bonn GmbH, adds: "Especially now, when the passenger numbers are clearly increasing again, the new lounge is the perfect addition to our airside offer."
The lounge offers seating for up to 800 guests on two levels and a total of around 120 square meters. The day pass costs 26 euros. The lounge is open daily from 5 a.m. to 2 a.m. An extension of the opening times according to the flight plan is being considered. Pre-registration is not necessary. Depending on the time of day, a rich breakfast buffet, hot and cold dishes with a regional and seasonal focus as well as all-day coffee specialties, soft drinks and a selection of alcoholic beverages are included.
