The Polish airline LOT Polish Airlines was able to reach and even exceed the one million mark in terms of passenger traffic. This figure represents a record and milestone for the Polish national carrier.

The Polish national carrier LOT Polish Airlines, whose position as a hub mainly takes over Warsaw, was able to reach a milestone. The airline broke the million mark in passenger numbers last month, an achievement that the airline can claim for the first time. Specifically, the airline welcomed 2023 passengers on board its planes in July 1.041.427 with a load factor of 83,5 percent.

“Not only did we have a very successful first half of 2023, we were even able to set a record in July. Both testify to the great demand that we feel and which makes us look to the future with great confidence,” explains Michał Fijoł, CEO of LOT Polish Airlines. "Accordingly, we expect to meet our forecast that we will carry a total of around 2023 million passengers in 10."
