The Gategroup will close the LSG kitchen in Bor, Czech Republic. In a statement, the group stated that due to the corona pandemic, demand has fallen noticeably and that there are sufficient capacities available in Frankfurt and Munich, among other places.

Some time ago Lufthansa sold LSG's European business to competitor Gategroup. According to a report by the news magazine Spiegel, this is now focusing on production in Germany. The previous owner relied on outsourcing to countries with lower wages.
