Lübeck Air's 2022/23 winter timetable includes a new destination: Sälen/Trysil. Weekly flights are planned, which are to be carried out on Saturday, the traffic day. The Swedish airport is located in the immediate vicinity of numerous winter sports resorts.
Lübeck Air is currently planning to offer the new route seasonally during the 2022/23 winter period. The first flight is scheduled for January 28, 2023. For the time being, this route is limited until April 8, 2022.
Sälen/Trysil Airport is also known as Scandinavian Mountains Airport by the owners. It is owned by various operators of winter sports resorts and went online in its current form in December 2019. Due to the proximity to the border, Norwegian owners of ski areas are also involved. The airport was created to make it easier for winter sports enthusiasts to get to the ski resorts during the cold season.
Lübeck Air is also planning to fly to Bergen, Munich, Stuttgart and Salzburg in winter 2022/23. Sales for these destinations have already started. However, the planning has not yet been finally completed, so that other destinations could possibly follow.
The Norwegian city is to be headed for on traffic days Monday and Friday. The aim is to become the Bavarian state capital with seven weekly rotations with the Hanseatic city. It should go to Salzburg on Saturdays. Stuttgart wants to connect Lübeck Air with Lübeck four times a week.
