Malaysia Airlines will take over B737-Max from 2024

Advertising

Malaysia Airlines will not take over the 25 Boeing 737 Max on order until 2024. The manufacturer and the airline reached an agreement on Tuesday afternoon. The machines are then to be handed over to the airline based in Kula Lumpur by 2027.

It was originally assumed that Malaysia Airlines would cancel the order. In the previous year, there were corresponding rumors due to the history of the pattern. Now it turns out differently, because the medium-haul jets should only be handed over later. The airline and Boeing have agreed not to disclose the financial details.
