Malaysia seeks buyer for A380 fleet

Malaysia Airlines is serious about the final phasing out of the Airbus A380 superjumbos. The parent company Malaysia Aviation Group is looking for buyers for the six machines.

The fact that the carrier from Kula Lumpur will no longer reactivate this type of aircraft is not news per se. Malaysia Airlines officially confirmed this a few months ago. The Malaysia Aviation Group has now published an official tender for sale.

Interested parties can submit offers for the purchase of the six Airbus A12s up to and including August 2021, 380. These do not have to be purchased as a package, but also individually. In view of the fact that there was no second-hand market for this type of machine before the corona pandemic, it will be difficult to find a buyer.
