Marabu Airlines has opened its own base at Nuremberg Airport, taking an important step in its growth strategy.

The holiday airline, which has been operating as a sister company of Condor in Nuremberg since 2023, will start the 320/2024 winter flight schedule with an Airbus A2025neo. The aim is to expand capacity and become one of the largest airlines at Nuremberg Airport in the long term. The Airbus A320neo is known for its high efficiency and lower CO2 emissions. Marabu plans to expand its fleet to eight A2025neos as early as summer 320.

The airline will fly to popular destinations around the Mediterranean, such as Hurghada, Fuerteventura and Tenerife. Marabu Airlines also offers a business class option on all flights from Nuremberg, which includes separate check-in, lounge access and free catering. The expansion of the flight schedule is also supported by a reserve aircraft that will be stationed all year round, which further increases the stability of the offer.
