In its most recent meeting, the supervisory board of Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG confirmed the cooperation with company boss Götz Ahmelmann. The manager received a contract extension for another five years.

This means that Ahmelmann will probably be at the helm of MDF AG until 2028. Hiltrud Werner, Chairman of the Supervisory Board: “Götz Ahmelmann has guided the central German airports Leipzig/Halle and Dresden International through multiple crisis situations in an exemplary manner in recent years. With the continuation of the cooperation, the Supervisory Board recognizes the course taken, which excellently positions the company for future challenges.”
