In the 2023 summer flight schedule, both Ryanair and Wizz Air want to fly between Memmingen and Rome-Fiumicino. The first-named low-cost airline has reacted to the competitive situation and prefers to resume this route.

Ryanair will fly between the two cities on Wednesday and Sunday service days from March 26, 2023. The competitor Wizz Air is currently still sticking to the fact that this route will only be served from September 5, 2023. The pink Airbus jets will then operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
