A flight of the Scandinavian airline SAS from Oslo to Málaga had to make an unscheduled landing in Copenhagen because there was a mouse on board.

According to reports from Norwegian broadcaster NRK, a passenger discovered the rodent after it jumped out of her in-flight meal. The plane, SAS Flight 4683, was in German airspace at the time. The crew informed passengers via loudspeaker that there was a safety risk and that the flight was being diverted. A spokesperson for SAS confirmed that this was standard procedure when a pest is discovered on board. The plane landed safely in Copenhagen and the passengers reached their destination in Malaga two and a half hours late.
